#19 Mass Effect 2 - Xbox 360 and PS3

We all know the Mass Effect series is almost perfect in every way. Both the first and the third are absolutely incredible ride through space making some of the hardest choices you'll ever make in video games. They all have perfect and easily navigated controls and the graphics are absolutely stunning. But my personal favorite of the series has to be Mass Effect 2. I love how the game was much more focused on exploration. All the games are like that, but the second one has more of the "space wanderer" feel. I've been playing for 50+ hours and I still haven't found all the planets. And fighting against the Collectors has some moments you'll never forget. When Harbinger enters a battle your struggling in you automatically think, "Oh crap, oh crap, oh crap, oh crap." He never holds back, always advancing towards you, shooting black matter balls at you taking down your shields. You get to meet your old friends (if you saved them in the first Mass Effect) and get to meet many powerful new ones. Mass Effect has that effect of making you end up loving each character in their own special ways. I've played through the game multiple times, and nothing killed me more than when Garrus died. I was so upset, and the Mass Effect story line is so great that when you lose someone like that, you don't mind replaying the entire game just to ensure their spot in the next game. I love the free-roam play of Mass Effect 2, I love the epic loyalty missions you end up taking all. Over all, Mass Effect 2 earns a well deserved spot on my list as my favorite Mass Effect game.
