#9 Isaac Clarke - Dead Space 1&2

Isaac Clarke is the perfectly flawed character that is exactly what a horror video game needs. He starts out in Dead Space soaring into the S.S. Ishumara just looking for a way to get the power on. What he finds though, is hell in the infinite blackness of space. He has no ideal way to get out of this without making some sacrifices. Throughout Dead Space, Isaac says almost nothing at all which is odd because most people would have lost their mind. Which in the case of Dead Space 2, is exactly what happens. He learns that he is actually infected, and he's hallucinating about his long lost girlfriend he finds dead in Dead Space. And even through all the turmoil, pain, anger, horror, and blood; Isaac remains on top. Destroying 2 different markers, and still maintaining his sanity for a Dead Space 3 to arrive in November. When playing Dead Space, nothing is more a friend to you than Isaac's handy plasma cutter. Remember everyone, shoot at the limbs.

#9 Bowser - Every Mario Game Ever Created

Since the age of video games, there is one villain that has always been. The infamous Bowser has been fighting the Super Mario Brothers since 1985. He's fallen into lava countless times, somehow escaping many painful deaths. And after every castle, you always find enjoyment in taking that golden ax and forcing him to fall to his brutal fate. He's crashed 11 different parties and kidnapped Princess Peach (himself) 8 different times. He's captured Princess Peach's castle and locked all the doors. He's turned into a rainbow monster and turned her paintings into levels. He's harnessed star power and shaped entire galaxies. He actually found the center of the universe and built an entire planet there. He has entire armies of Goombas, Koopas, and Bullet Bills. Yet he still sucks at his job.
