Chell - Portal 1&2

Chell is one of those characters, though she doesn't say a word, she's so loud. When playing a game like Portal, you would expect a male protagonist. Since it seems very sci-fi and nerdy, its quite the surprise that you character ends up being a woman. And as you go through both Portal games, you find that running gag of "Hello? Can you hear me?" Since Chell is mute you don't hear much about her personal life from herself. But you find to learn that Chell was dropped at Aperture Science's doorstep and was not loved by her parents. You even find yourself thinking if she is even able to talk. But her impression of destruction is left in a big way. She destroys GlaDoS without a single weapon. And you feel for her, as GlaDoS constantly teases her on her inability to express emotion. Chell is the perfect fit for my top ten heroes list.
